Explosive Energy

Okay what happened? Peanut turned into a ball of distructive energy this afternoon. He ransacked the house, turned everything upside down, screamed and screamed and yelled no, no, no, no... Is this testosterone at work? Ken and I took turns to get beat up by this little nut bag.

I don't know how some women do with four boys? What's the trick? Tell me!!

Surprise Dinner

When I got home this evening, the entire house was filled with the intense smell of corned beef. MMM... I was so surprised there is hot food. Ken cooked a big pot of corned beef and cabbage dinner for us. The meat was cooked to perfection and the cabbage was just right. I squirted some catsup and mustard on my plate and I went to town. It was such a pleasant surprise. Normally I stress over what to cook when I get home. It was so nice to eat with my teeth and not just swallowing everything down. I was so excited to eat and forgot to take a photo.

Shark Butt

I couldn't resist getting this Shark outfit. I liked it before Peanut was born. He liked this one. It was easy to wear and the tail wiggled around as he walked.

Peacock

This costume was extremely hard to find since Babystyle is out of business. I searched and searched. Finally craigslist came through. This was the only one listed in the right size. I was able to get it a week before the event. It was such a challenge but made it fun for me this year. I don't know how this photo was taken. Peanut cried the entire time.

Ken + Doll

Nice day out. We took Peanut to swing. He was super happy to get fresh air and sand in his shoes. I, on the other hand, was busy taking photos and chasing after him with a wet wipe.

Steam, Help?

I've been so frustrated lately with everything. I don't even know what's right or wrong. I am running on too short of a fuse than what I like. Peanut still cries and screams when he gets a bath. When will he realize that's a treat and enjoy it? Peanut refuses to eat at the table. He cries and screams when food is removed from his hands when he wonders off. When will he understand to eat at a table? Heck, I haven't tasted my meal for a long time. Our dinner table is a space to pile junk. When will we be able to eat on the table all together? We've been eating carb meals everyday. When will we be able to change back to our normal healthy meals? I am so exhausted... Peanut is crying super hard now. I took his bread away b/c he was dragging it everywhere in the house.

What am I doing wrong?

I am fighting back the sore tears. It's a battle I will most likely loose tonight.

Facebook Step Aside Please?

It's been a while since I blogged. I miss blogging. Facebook sucked away my time from sharing my thoughts. I think it's time to come back and continue with this. This short one is a good start. Gotta go back finish cooking tofu for Peanut snack.

Dip At The Pool

Peanut enjoyed the July 4th pool party. He was surrounded by the ladies. Pa Pa was able to sneak a picture moment with him in the pool.

Nom, Nom, Nom, Nom, Nom

We celebrated July 4th with a dinner at the Newport Rib Company. Peanut had great fun trying out a rib. He got meat juice all over his face, hands and shirt. It was so much fun watching him eat that beef rib. He liked the BBQ sauce and the meat A LOT. It was hard to take that bone away from him. We had to give him a bath after this dinner before we enjoyed the fireworks show on Irene's balcony.

Bad To The Bone

Peanut really likes this bike. I am trying to convince his grandpa and grandma to get this for him next year for his birthday. I don't think I'll succeed. But Peanut appears like he knows what he is doing on the bike.

First Birthday

Peanut loves to walk now. Midway through his First Park Birthday Party, he led Papa walking with him on the grass chasing after the big black crows. Uncle David caught this tender moment shot.

Rest In Peace Our Beloved Molly 1997 - 2009

Molly passed away peacefully on June 27, 2009 Saturday morning. CRF claimed her life but we will remember the best of her forever and ever. She's a kitten at heart often behaved feisty and wild. We loved it.

She is now playing happily with Tiffy at the rainbow bridge.

Tiffy went to the rainbow bridge on December 17, 1997

There is another hole in my heart.

Whataburger

Ken came back from Texas last night and surprised me with my favorite burger! His flight was delayed for 2 hours and got home around 10pm. We didn't care how late it was, put them in the little toaster oven and assembled the burgers for a late night snack! Texas, they do fast food burger right!

No Baby Gate Can Stop Me

Peanut is super active now. We have gates everywhere in the house. He cannot be blocked except he got stuck between the sofa and the new coffee table. Awesome! He got sandwiched for a split second.

Clipping Nails

Clipping Peanut's nails is harder than doing that to the feral cats. He squirms and fights back! Thanks again to Youtube and Hello Kitty, he stays put watching the video so I can quickly do the deed. I am saving this video here for the next clipping adventure.

Chow Time!

Ken took Peanut to visit California Adventure Park's Tortilla Factory. Peanut grabbed Ken's sample tortilla and gummed it for some new yummy flavors.

Tomato Face

I can't stop looking at this photo. He has been doing this tomato face for the past couple of weeks. Peanut pulled himself up to play and I was a distraction.

Teething

Peanut has been munching on toys due to teething irritation. He has been upset for a couple of weeks now. Here is one cute moment while he chewed away at Sophie.

He Found The Remote Control

So I was playing with Peanut on the mat by the fridge. I paused the TV to go start on his milk this morning. As I'm putting the milk in the warmer the TV starts playing again. I look over and he's got the remote in his hand pointing at the TV.

He's way too smart for his own good. I think it was complete luck...but I wish I had the video camera going.

Dreaming Of Snow

So I broke my finger again, but this time I did it with a car door the day before I went to Mammoth for a week. What a looser. Why am I digging up old stories? I just finished editing ton of photos for Peanut and found this one on the network. It was taken minutes before I broke my thumb two years ago. I looked so happy... I am itching to ski.

Yummy??

Peanut has been trying to eat rice cereal for the past month. I don't think he likes it much but he associates eating and mouth together! Good start.

More Poop + First Tastes

So, now the flood gate is opened Peanut has been pooping 4-5 times a day. WTF? Babies are such a mystery to me.

Last night grandma decided to spoil Peanut's taste buds early by dipping her finger into katchup and vanilla frozen yogurt. I sat there in shock watching it happen... He hasn't mastered rice cereal yet and he is already exposed to stuff he shouldn't be eating until he is 20.

A Sight Only A Mother Can Love

Peanut hasn't pooped for 2 weeks. On the 14th day, he finally produced the load here. Little did I know this was only a preview to what came afterward. He continued to poop throughout the weekend in the "hill" unit. Yes, so much came out that he made small yogurt-like hills of them. It took three people to get him cleaned. Needless to say, I am so relieved now.

Miserable Day

Today is so hot. The Santana wind is blowing again. The air is super dry and nasty. My eyes are so tired. I can't wait for the rain. It's not right to have 80+ degrees weather in January!

Snow Angel... Maybe Not

We tried to have Peanut make a snow angel in the snow, but he was too light to make a dent in the snow. Instead he got to "stand up" for the first time unassisted.

Skiing With Pa Pa

Ken took Peanut skiing in the Baby Bjorn. What now? We'll have to come up with something else to top this experience. Peanut sure enjoyed the wind in his hair. Wild child.
